Cup Florio, a major event, part of the history of the city of Saint-Brieuc. The first edition in 1927 had marked all the memories and left a lot of nostalgia.

In 2011, Saint-Brieuc Companies decided to relaunch the Cupto contribute to the entertainment of our city, to highlight all the economic and cultural vitality of Saint-Brieuc.

The adventure has begun with the support of six associations of old vehicles: the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles, Cars and Heritage Country of Ferns, the Breton Association of Vintage Vehicles, Automotive and Armor Trophy Automobile Club de l'Ouest, and Armor Vintage Vehicles.

And success was confirmed in 2013. A huge word of mouth, a wider communication, a strong and lasting partnership with local authorities and competitors of motivation!
High-quality vehicles have made the trip: the 4 corners of France but also in Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
Among the exceptional vehicles present:

  • three Rosengart together for the first time
  • aNazarro 1913 winner of the Targa Florio in 1923
  • two Limousines Panhard et Levassor 1931 and 1937
  • Jaguar XK 140 Coupe 1956
  • or the Gordini T18 S tray 1952 which was driven by Juan -Manuel Fangio at the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1953.

Alain Serpaggi, European champion sports cars in 1974, was also present and made demonstrations on a Mégane Renault Sport 345 hp.

And success was confirmedin 2015. A huge word of mouth, expanded communication throughout the press, specialized magazines of the old car, a strong partnership and sustainable with local authorities and the briochines companies and beyond, not to mention motivation competitors!
